A legacy you can hold in your hands.
The Lampley is named for my father, Lou Lampley (1938–2025). He spent his life in Chicago championing Black- and brown-owned businesses, opening doors and making sure people like me had a seat at the table.
When we lost him, I read two words on his death certificate that I didn't understand: CTE and thyroid disease. I had no idea what they meant, how they affected him, or how many other families are living with the same questions. I realized I couldn't be the only one.
So I made The Lampley.
Every candle, hoodie and handmade pillow carries his name and a purpose. A portion of every purchase goes to our Pour It Forward fund for CTE and thyroid disease research and awareness.
The Lampley is Black woman-owned and made with local artists and makers.
